Diane has resided and worked in the Midcoast area all of her life. A graduate of Warren High School, The University of Maine at Farmington, and the University of Southern Maine. Diane began teaching in 1966 and during her twenty-six years in the MSAD5 school district, she taught grades two and three, served as coordinator of the K-6 Gifted Education Program, and was Director of Regional and State Destination Imagination meets. She was also the Director of a Children’s Choir, Secretary for the Teacher’s Association, served on the Executive Board, and taught numerous teacher workshops pertaining to gifted children. Diane has been involved in 4-H, the Tri-County Horsemen, Eastern States Exposition, the Crawford Lake Association, and the Warren Congregational Church. Her interests include fly-fishing, reading, photography, hiking, cooking, knitting, quilting, and rug braiding.
