In a press release this month to the media, home sales statewide increased 8.6 percent in January 2015 compared to January 2014. The statewide median sales price (MSP) decreased 3.90 percent to $160,000 in that same time period.

Sales in Knox County were up 12.96 percent from $164,625 to $185,953 while the units sold were down slightly with a 7.46 percent change over the previous year.
